Abbie Chatfield played double duty on FBoy Island Australia this week, acting as host and super-sleuth on the controversial dating series.
The popular TV and media personality left the male contestants on the BINGE reality show in a state of panic when she turned up unannounced to their villa and told them she would be going through their social media accounts.
With half of the contestants hiding their self-proclaimed ‘FBoy’ statuses and masquerading as ‘Nice Guys’, it’s no wonder a collective gasp could be heard from the house.
Chatfield put on her detective cap as she and leading ladies Krystal Thomas, Nicole Mitrov and Ally Woodfall trawled through the profiles of the men, who are all vying for the hearts of the three women and thus take home a share in the $150,000 cash prize.
But after what they discovered in the sea of photos, videos and follower lists, it’s clear some men are walking red flags.

Upon investigation, contestant Joe went from frontrunner to firing line when it was discovered he was only following four accounts, one of which belongs to controversial social media influencer Andrew Tate.
After allowing Ally a moment to gush about photos of Joe’s abs, Abbie flagged that there were more pressing issues at hand about Ally’s crush.
“The other thing I wanted to show you girls is this. So this is Andrew Tate’s app,” Abbie said as she pointed out Joe was following Hustlers University, the online course run by Tate, a self-described misogynist.
The girls were floored with Krystal saying: “In my opinion, Andrew Tate is basically the leader of misogyny. Nice Guy or FBoy, I do not care what your status is on this island. If you’re an Andrew Tate supporter, you do not respect women.”
“Instant alarm bells because if that is someone you are admiring and looking up to, what does that say about the type of person you are and the type of values and morals that you may be aligning with?” she added.
Abbie agreed and told the girls they have a lot to think about.
“OK ladies. I’ll leave you with that,” she said. “There are some questions that we have. We did see some red flags just then and they need to get clarified.”
Ally was hellbent on confronting Joe about his morals and values because she “doesn’t want to be walked all over or treated like a piece of meat”.
“I’ve dated people in the past that have been super misogynistic and that is definitely not something I want to do again,” she said in a later confessional.
“If Joe does have similar controversial beliefs to Andrew Tate, I think I need to speak to him myself.”
But the conversation doesn’t go as planned with Joe appearing to worm his way back into Ally’s heart.
“I’ve followed him for a long time, I thought he was a great guy. As much as there’s the misogynist sh*t and obviously the disrespect of women, I do understand some of his content,” he admitted.
“For a long time, I was going through a tough period and I watched him every day and thought, ‘f**k this really helps.’”
Joe’s explanation left Ally even more confused, so Krystal, who was eavesdropping nearby, entered the chat.
Again, Joe told her that he doesn’t agree with Tate’s “outlooks on women”, so Krystal should just “settle down”. Needless to say, she was not happy and stormed off.
“Thanks for having a chat,” Joe said as Krystal replied off-camera: “Love that. F**k me, he’s a piece of sh*t.”
While the dots “are connecting” for Krystal and Nicole, it remains to be seen what Ally will do with this new piece of information.
“At the end of the day, Ally can make her own decisions,” Krystal told Nicole. “But my job as a friend is to raise those concerns. You can’t support Andrew Tate and be a nice guy.”
