Piers Morgan praised his new show’s first night as a triumphant return to television with the notoriously outspoken presenter, 57, insisting he is “making TV history” with his unfiltered program format, which has included a sensational two-part interview with Donald Trump.
In his opening monologue for the new episode, Morgan said his first night succeeded in his promise to “annoy all the right people” – including the former US president.
Morgan said: “Last night’s show made TV history. Today I have been showered with equal dollops of praise and criticism.”
Morgan moved into the second part of his interview with Donald Trump, which started with Mr Trump enthusiastically praising The Queen.
Mr Trump said: “I’m a big fan of the Queen, you know that.”
“The Queen has never made a mistake. Some of the kids make a mistake every little while.”
He called the Prince Andrew scandal a “terrible thing for a lot of people”.
Mr Trump described Harry as being “whipped like no person I’ve ever seen”.
With regards to Twitter, he said: “What they’re doing is really horrible. … They’re sick, they’re mentally ill, our country is going to hell.”
On immigration, Mr Trump said: “By the end of Biden’s term you’ll have 50 million people coming into this country [illegally]. The whole world is being dumped into the United States. We’re like a garbage dump. Our country is being invaded.”
"I would have left, but I wouldn't have attacked the weatherman."

Morgan also aired the moment when Mr Trump walked off set looking displeased, adding: “We usually would have cut this out.
“It’s quite fun to watch what’s going on behind the scenes.”
Morgan told viewers that Mr Trump was already “simmering with anger” before he walked off the set and declared the interview over.
In a last bid effort to keep Trump in the interview, Morgan asked him about achieving a hole-in-one when the interview is cut off and Morgan said: “That was a great interview.”
Mr Trump replied: “Yeah, it was fine.”
Then he got up before snapping: “Turn the cameras off.”
âMr President... I wouldnât have called our promo a rigged promo. You did leave pretty angry.â

Morgan also asked Mr Trump if he will run for president in 2024.
“Let me just say this: I think a lot of people are going to be very happy.”
Morgan’s unfiltered show landed more viewers on average than all other channels in England combined when it launched last night, 8pm UK time.
Morgan opened his much-anticipated show by issuing an “urgent trigger warning” to “woke snowflakes”.

Referencing Nelson Mandela as he launched his show last night, Morgan said: “It’s been a long walk to freedom of speech.”
He added: “I want to issue an urgent trigger warning for all ultra sensitive, permanently offended woke snowflakes who may have accidentally tuned into this show.
“You are not going to enjoy my show. It’s going to really annoy you.
“It may even evoke trauma because I’m going to be celebrating the one thing you can’t abide: free speech.
“And that’s real free speech. Not your kind of free speech where only your opinions are allowed and anyone with a different opinion has to be shamed, abused and cancelled, their careers and reputations destroyed.
“Nobody’s getting cancelled on Piers Morgan Uncensored. This is a no-cancel zone.”
Morgan also revealed that world heavyweight champion Tyson Fury and Sharon Osbourne will be interviewed on his show tomorrow night.
Piers Morgan Uncensored premieres Tuesday 26 April at 9pm AEST on Sky News. Watch on Foxtel, Stream on Flash.
