Perth sisters Katie and Lucy Mercer evicted from the Big Brother house

KATIE and Lucy have been evicted from the Big Brother compound and Tully has opened up about her relationships -both in and out of the house.

Things turned sour for 'sugar sisters' Katie and Lucy Mercer when they were evicted from Big Brother tonight.

The inseparable blondes, from Perth, lost out in a tight voting tussle against the other long-term housemates on the Channel 9 reality show.

The eviction came as controversial housemate Tully Smyth returned to be quizzed by host Sonia Kruger.

Katie and Lucy, who entered the house as a single team, gained just 12.3 per cent of the public vote to save.

Mikkayla and Ed scored 14.4 per cent apiece. Drew scored 17.1, Jade had 17.6 and Tim 24.2.

The sisters had won over the Aussie public with their bubbly personalities and positive attitude.

That didn't stop them butting heads with Tahan very early. Fortunately they developed a firm friendship with Mikkayla, who sobbed uncontrollably when the verdict was announced.

"We had an absolute ball - the time of our lives," the sisters said.

Earlier Tully - who didn't shed a single tear - told Kruger that she is now single after officially calling it quits with former girlfriend Tahlia.

The pair split because of Tully's romance with Drew inside the Big Brother house.

"She (Tahlia) wasn't a big fan of it (relationship with Drew)," Tully told Kruger. Things have ended since I left the house. I totally respect her decision.

"Obviously I'm ashamed. It was never my intention. The fact that I have hurt someone I care about is horrendous."

Tully wouldn't be drawn on whether she and Drew will resume their relationship once he leaves the house.

"I don't know how I feel about Drew or how Drew feels about me," she said. "When he does leave the house I'll definitely catch up with Drew."

Tully admitted that she had been hurt by some of the anger directed towards her on social media that that "I've focused on the positive stuff and tried to ignore the negative".

The housemates had predicted that Drew would be the one to get evicted after viewers sent Tully packing last week.

Ed and Jade have now become the couple of choice with viewers wondering whether they will remain an item once they leave the house.

There was one particularly illuminating chat between the housemates. Tim admitted that he never thought he would make friends in the house, intruder Nathan said that the housemates' bitchiness was getting to him, and Mikkayla told of having the strength to be herself.
