Netflix star insists he ‘didn’t wear prosthetic’

The star of Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story made a wild confession about one particular scene on the smash hit show.

Netflix star Cooper Koch makes surprising confession about X-rated scene

Netflix actor Cooper Koch has cleared up rumours surrounding his nude scene in Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story.

The controversial scripted show, created by Ryan Murphy, centres the Menendez brothers’ high-profile trial for killing their parents in 1989 and explores their claims that they were sexually, physically and emotionally abused by José and Kitty Menendez.

Appearing on Andy Cohen’s Watch What Happens Live on Monday night, Koch opened up about suggestions that he had used a prosthetic while filming a nude scene in the shower for one episode.

In a bid to put the rumours to bed once and for all, Koch then made a rather X-rated confession.

“Just to say, mine is not a prosthetic,” Koch stated, much to the audience’s delight.

Host Andy Cohen cheekily congratulated Koch, saying: “You’re very blessed, aren’t you?” Koch then nodded before laughing, exclaiming: “Well hung.”

The actor also opened up about filming the scene, admitting it was uncomfortable at first. “It’s not scary [showing full frontal nudity], it’s just cold, especially in the shower.”

Monsters became the number one show on Netflix upon its release but it has courted controversy for how it depicted the controversial case of the Menendez brothers.

Even the real life brothers have weighed in on the TV show, saying it’s “full of lies”, while creator Ryan Murphy hit back at the pair and claimed the show has helped their case.

The brothers eventually admitted to carrying out the slayings of their parents, but said they were repeatedly sexually assaulted by their father and feared for their lives. Prosecutors argued there was no evidence that the pair were molested, but committed the murder because they were after their parents’ multimillion-dollar estate.

The brothers were convicted after a second trial and both sentenced in 1996 to life in prison, however new evidence has now given them hope of a potential release.

Prosecutors in Los Angeles are reviewing the evidence to determine whether they should be serving life sentences for killing their parents in their Beverly Hills mansion more than 35 years ago.

Los Angeles County District Attorney George Gascón said during a news conference there is no question Erik Menendez, 53, and his 56-year-old brother, Lyle Menendez, committed the murders, but his office will be reviewing the case and will decide on whether a re-sentencing is warranted.

The new evidence presented in a petition includes a letter written by Erik Menendez that his lawyers say corroborates the allegations that he was sexually abused by his father.
