He did what? The Aussie dance sensation who will WOW you
THIS is the jaw-dropping dance solo which could win contestant Michael Dameski next week’s title decider on Channel 10’s So You Think You Can Dance.
IT was the jaw-dropping dance solo which defied gravity and could earn the young performer a whopping $100,000 prize.
So You Think You Can Dance contestant, Michael Dameski, was desperate for a place in the Channel 10 competition’s final four next week, pulling out this dazzling dance-for-your-life performance last night — which had the show’s audience on their (stomping) feet and the celebrity judges left in awe.
Now the favourite to take the title and pick up the $100,000 prize money and 12-month work opportunity, Dameski showed off his extreme athleticism and visible hunger for his art.
Dameski, who got his first break as a young dancer in a production of Billy Elliot, has battled to overcome confidence problems during the competition but showed no weakness in the powerful performance which set Twitter ablaze and saw the show’s hashtag #SYTYCDAU trending.
Righto, i'm texting "Michael" until my fingers fall off !! #SYTYCDAU @SYTYCDAU #MichaelForTheWin

Superstar judge Paula Abdul leapt from her seat following the performance, stunned by the world-class routine, while fellow judge Aaron Cash joined the Twitter frenzy, telling his followers: “@SYTYCDAU you are witnessing the birth of a dance Super star ... Michael!!!”
He later added: “I love when dance can inspire young Aussie boys. Dance On, Dance Strong.”
In a prerecorded package before the performance Dameski, 18, praised his Macedonian-born parents for inspiring his hardcore work ethic.
The Sydney dancer will compete with Jay Johns (NSW), Lauren Seymour (NSW) and Renelle Jones (QLD) for the title of Australia’s favourite dancer.
Public voting will decide the winner, with the grand finale to air on Ten next Thursday night at 7.30pm.
