Erin Molan makes nude FaceTime confession on-air

The radio host and former Nine star was outed on-air this morning for a surprising habit, joking that it may be “a midlife crisis”.

Erin Molan’s FaceTime calls can be a little X-rated.

The Morning Crew with Hughesy, Ed and Erin host’s bizarre habit was outed by her sister Felicity live on air on Wednesday morning, during a conversation about household nudity.

According to Felicity, her sibling often picks up her FaceTime calls while completely naked.

“The problem I have with Erin is she’s very open about it, when I FaceTime her, (she) could just kind of decline the Facetime and say, ‘sorry, now’s not a good time’ … but she’ll always pick up,” she explained.

“And I usually FaceTime her when I’m out having a coffee somewhere in a cafe, so I have to make sure there’s no one lingering over my shoulder.”

Her gobsmacked co-host Dave Hughes then clarified: “So Erin answers Facetime calls nude, without any idea where you are?”

“Absolutely. I could be at work!” Felicity replied.

She was confronted with it live on air on Wednesday.

Molan, 39, joked that it could be a “midlife crisis”, before her sister explained that it’s rarely “full-frontal” nudity.

“It’s like a bit of a weird artsy European film or something, where there’s little objects concealing things … arty,” she revealed, joking that it made her “uncomfortable”.

Earlier this year, Molan revealed on her 2DayFM breakfast show that she’d recently started dating a fellow single parent after splitting from her fiance, Sean Ogilvy, last September.

She was cagey at first when probed about her latest love interest, insisting it’s just “early days” with the single dad she’s been on a few dates with.

“You’re seeing a bit of one particular guy?” co-host Hughesy asked.

“A little bit … Yeah, potentially,” she responded.

Molan announced she was officially back on the dating scene in January, but “not in a skanky way”, she clarified to listeners.

It came four months after the breakfast radio star announced her split from her fiance, homicide detective Sean Ogilvy.

“It has been fruitful, let’s just say it has been fruitful,” she said of her single life.

The previous Channel 9 host had been engaged to Ogilvy since 2017, and the couple welcomed daughter Eliza the following year.
