POOR Kylie, she’s never been rejected quite like this before. A Voice contestant refused to give the pop princess a hug last night, and the awkward snub was captured on camera.

The miniature pop princess is used to dealing with throngs of adoring fans, all dying to get within an arm’s reach, but one Voice contestant didn’t want a bar of her last night.

The awkward moment came after R’n’B soul duo ZK, consisting of Zaachariah Fielding and Kristal West, performed Justin Bieber’s hit As Long As You Love Me.

The pair, who managed to get will.i.am to turn around at the last second, left the stage to hug it out with the coaches, but for some reason Fielding decided to give Kylie the cold shoulder.

Kylie can be seen in the clip, arms eagerly outstretched, only to be brushed by the contestant as he makes his way over to Ricky Martin and Joel Madden.

The awkward moment didn’t escape viewers, with plenty commenting about Fielding’s blatant snub.

West and Fielding met four years ago but only recently began performing together. West is the grandaughter of Bonita Mabo, wife of land rights pioneer, Eddie Mabo. Bonita was backstage with other family members during the pair’s performance on Monday night.

ZK were over the moon when Will.i.am turned around during their blind audition.

Our national treasure didn’t know quite how to respond to the reaction from Fielding, so she just stood there, looking dejected.

Perhaps it’s because Kylie usually gets this kind of treatment from contestants.
