Sylvester Stallone and Casey Affleck’s Golden Globes run-in

THE Golden Globes should have a been a great night for Sylvester Stallone, but instead Casey Affleck and a few other stars ruined his evening.

SYLVESTER Stallone found out at the Golden Globes that family connections will only get you so far.

Despite his daughters Scarlet, Sistine and Sophia sharing the title of Miss Golden Globes at this year’s show, the actor, 70, and wife Jennifer Flavin were forced to leave their table because of a seating mix-up, reports People.

Stallone and Flavin allegedly walked up to the table — where Manchester by the Sea star Casey Affleck was seated, along with the film’s writer-director Kenneth Lonergan and producer Matt Damon — only to find that there was only one seat available.

The actor, who won a Globe last year for reprising the role of Rocky Balboa in Creed and appeared as a presenter this year, reportedly grew frustrated when no one at the table made an attempt to accommodate him or his wife and the couple retreated backstage to watch the rest of the ceremony.

“There weren’t enough seats and so there was confusion, but it wasn’t personal against him,” a source told People.

Another seat was eventually brought to the table but Stallone reportedly had no interest in returning to the site of the mix-up. He also appears to have been uninterested in accepting an apology from Affleck, 41, when the two crossed paths later in the evening.

A representative for Stallone did not respond to a request for comment.
