Singer Rachael Leahcar tied the knot with the “love of her life” Chris Johinke in the Adelaide Hills on Friday.

The happy couple exchanged vows at The Manor Basket Range in front of 100 guests, including her two guide dogs, current guide Jarvis and the retired Ella.

“It’s been the perfect day and I couldn’t be happier,” said the vision-impaired singer, who shot to fame as a teenager on TV show The Voice Australia in 2012.

“We’ve been planning this for almost two years and I’m so excited … I know I’m marrying the love of my life.”

Leahcar, 28, and Johinke, 34, met at one of her shows seven years ago, and become engaged in February last year.

“It feels like we met just yesterday but at the same time, it also feels like we’ve been together forever,” said Leahcar, who wore a stunning dress by Bridal Fusion.

“I’m very grateful and very lucky.”

Johinke took Leahcar back to where they shared their first kiss for the romantic proposal, in front of the giraffe statue on Maxwell Tce at Glenelg East.

It’s been a busy time for Leahcar, who performed at the Christmas Pageant earlier this month.
