Brooklyn Beckham, the son of Victoria and David Beckham, cannot seem to catch a break these days.
Brooklyn, 25, who is constantly making headlines for his various career attempts, has announced he has broken his shoulder.
It is unclear how he managed that, but he announced the grim news on Instagram and even gave his billionaire heiress wife a sweet shout-out.
“Broke my shoulder but all good cause (sic) I have Nicola Peltz Beckham to look after me. Love you babe,” he wrote.
It is a nasty injury, some people can recover within six weeks, but most people take months to heal.
It also hasn’t come at the best time.
In March this year, his heiress wife was receiving great reviews for her directorial debut, Lola, when she admitted she cut her husband from her film.
She told People: “Brooklyn is actually really upset that he did get cut from his little cameo.”
What was Brooklyn’s great crime? Well, he could not even nail a one-word line without stuffing it up.
“He had one line, ‘Hi,’ but he kept saying it in a British accent, and he was staring directly into the camera. I was like, ‘Oh God, we have to move on, good lord’,” she said.
After that career hiccup, Brooklyn got attention for driving around in a custom blue Jaguar with an English flag as a bumper sticker in LA.
Most celebrities crave privacy and embrace tinted windows, but Brooklyn had the top down and is just living his best life.
Outside of driving around in his swish car, he keeps busy with his multiple career attempts and declaring his love for his wife
The pair got married in 2022, the wedding was covered by Vogue and Nicola’s wedding dress was not designed by her mother-in-law, who is, of course, a famous fashion designer.
Brooklyn’s very dedicated to his wife, apart from Instagram shout-outs, he has also over 70 tattoos in tribute to the heiress.
When it comes to work though, things get a little more complicated. Brooklyn has tried a bunch of stuff but nothing has stuck.
When he was 18, he released a photography book. It featured a blurry photo of an elephant and a caption explaining that the picture wasn’t very good because elephants are “so hard to photograph”.
Three years later, he decided to ditch photography and he became a chef.
He appeared on a morning breakfast show in the UK, called himself a “foodie”, and then gave a lengthy tutorial on making a bacon, egg and sausage sandwiches.
Yes, perhaps the most common sandwich in the world. Someone tweeted that his attempt at being a chef was “embarrassing”, and another asked if it was a “joke”.
In 2022, Brooklyn decided to give the role of bartender a crack and described himself as a “nutter in the kitchen” and then made a standard gin and tonic, leaving the internet cackling at his expense.
He has kept at the whole cooking thing and went viral in 2023 because he posted a video on his Instagram where he used a blowtorch to make a grilled cheese sandwich, which fans thought was slightly overkill.
