Global pop sensation The Kid Laroi has announced dates for his postponed Australian tour later this year.
The ARIA winner – and Sacred Heart College old scholar – will perform at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre on November 24 as part of his rescheduled The First Time Tour, which will include shows on the Gold Coast, and in Brisbane, Sydney, Perth, Hobart and Melbourne.
The 20-year-old, whose real name is Charlton Howard, will be joined on stage in Australia by special guests, US rapper Quavo and Sydney group ONEFOUR.
Due to kick off his Down Under tour in February, the Kid Laroi was forced to push the dates back due to “logistics beyond his control”.
“I have a really big surprise and special guest that we just couldn’t finalise in time for February, among a bunch of other logistical stuff,” Laroi said at the time.
“I wanna give you the best show that I possibly can and make everyone back home proud.
“I promise that it will be worth it, and I will keep you guys posted on the special guests and everything else that is to come.”
Ticket holders for the previously scheduled February dates will be contacted by Ticketek via email with instructions on how to redeem their tickets for the new tour.
November’s shows will go on sale to the public on Thursday, August 8, at 1pm from ticketek.com.au, with an exclusive 48-hour presale to be held from Tuesday, August 6 at 1pm.
Nominated for a Grammy and Billboard award in the US, The Kid Laroi last performed in Adelaide in 2022 on his End Of The World arena tour.
Currently dating Canadian pop princess Tate McRae, Laroi was raised in the inner-west Sydney suburb of Redfern with his uncle and mother, often living meal-to-meal and drifting between houses after his parents’ separation.
Laroi lived in Broken Hill from the age of seven with his mother, brother and grandparents before moving to Adelaide, where he spent a year in the Sacred Heart College boarding school.
He was eventually catapulted to fame thanks to collaborations with Miley Cyrus and Justin Bieber, including their mega-hit track Stay.
