A disabled woman was left shocked when she says she was told to “get up and dance” at a JLS concert.
The woman, who is also 27 weeks pregnant, shared a video of the awkward moment she was watching JLS’ support act, Example, who was trying to hype up the crowd.
In the TikTok posted by user Kxrstyxx, Example is performing his hit song, Changed the Way You Kiss Me at the O2 Arena in London.
The singer, whose given name is Elliot Gleave and shares two children with Aussie ex-wife Erin McNaught, told fans to stand up and dance, then pointed out those who were not complying.
“What are you doing? You look stupid,” he said in the video.
Kxrstyxx captioned the TikTok: “Getting called out by Example was not on my 2025 bingo card… Sir, I am 27 weeks pregnant and disabled.”
She added in the comment section that she even held up her walking stick to show she was disabled and couldn’t stand up.
Kxrstyxx had a better experience when it came to meeting JLS, who were ‘really nice to her’ as they posed for photos.
“JLS themselves were absolutely lovely to myself, mentioned how they loved that I painted my walking aid the colours as well,” she told us.
The Sun has reached out to Example’s representatives for comment.
Other music fans reacted to the awkward moment in the comment section of the TikTok.
“I’m so sorry I heard him say later in the concert ‘even this pregnant woman is standing’, I had no idea he peer pressured you into standing that’s so wrong,” wrote one person.
Another added: “He was like this in Cardiff, he was fuming at everyone sitting down.”
And a third wrote: “I was FUMING about this! He was so rude and wouldn’t let it go.”
JLS’ tour was thrown into chaos last week when singer Aston Merrygold revealed he’s injured his leg and needed surgery.
He’s since ended up performing the London shows on crutches.
Along with Aston, the group is made up of Marvin Humes, JB Gill and Oritse Williams.
JLS first shot to fame on The X Factor in 2008 and made it to the final, but just missed out on winning the show to Alexandra Burke.
Nevertheless, the band still went on to score five number one singles and six top ten albums during their time together.
