The international rap star was out and about meeting fans ahead of his highly anticipated support tour when the bar turned him away.

Post Malone has revealed he doesn’t get any special treatment when it comes to the strict dress codes of Perth’s clubbing scene.

The rapper has been opening for the Red Hot Chili Peppers for the Australian leg of their world tour and touched down in Perth over the weekend.

While out and about enjoying a break from his busy tour schedule on Saturday night, Malone revealed that one venue turned him away.

Queuing up for QT Perth’s rooftop bar with a small entourage, the 27-year-old was told by security that he couldn’t enter.

“They turned me away for my tattoos … I’ve never really experienced anything like that,” he told the West Australian while waiting to enter another venue.

Every inch of Malone’s skin is famously covered in black ink, with dozens of tattoos crawling from his neck to his cheeks.

QT Perth’s dress code strongly prohibits “face, neck and offensive tattoos”, according to signage posted at the front doors.

The 27-year-old has at least 78 tattoos, including barbed wire across his forehead, the words “Stay Away” over his eyebrow, and a spiked flail weapon featured on his neck and face.

Unable to enter, the entourage turned around and headed for 18 Knots rooftop bar inside DoubleTree by Hilton, where they were allowed inside despite a similar policy banning face tattoos.

Malone performed his final leg of the Australian tour on Sunday night at Optus Stadium.

NCA NewsWire has contacted QT Perth for comment.
