Former footy star Chad Wingard has tied the knot with fiancee Lilly Lloyd, seven months after his romantic winery proposal.
The former Hawthorn and Port Adelaide forward shared the happy news on social media, posting the first official shot of the pair’s December 1 wedding with the caption “Mr & Mrs Wingard”.
But it was his new wife’s dress that stole the show.
Posing hand-in-hand with her new husband, Lilly looked breathtaking in a daring short white mini dress.
Wingard’s former club Port Adelaide was one of the first accounts to comment, leaving a simple “congrats” under the post.
The official Hawthorn Instagram account also wrote “congratulations”, alongside an emoji of champagne glasses and a love heart.
The post was quickly swamped with comments praising the bride’s stunning look.
“Congratulations, you both looked amazing,” posted Houndstooth Tailors, who provided Wingard’s suit.
“So stunning … love you,” wrote Hana Lowe.
“So good,” commented Sean Samblich.

After failing to get on the field for an AFL game in 2024, Wingard called time on his career in September.
The 30-year-old two-time all-Australian played 71 games across five seasons at the Hawks, having joined from Port Adelaide for the 2019 season.
“Thank you to the Port Adelaide Football Club and Hawthorn Football Club for shaping me in to the player and person I am today,” he posted on Instagram at the time.
“To the fans of this great game, thank you, and I hope I played a small part in entertaining you on the weekends during my journey.
“Lastly, to my family, thank you for always supporting me and pushing me to be my best every day.”
