James Franco, Seth Rogen and Jonah Hill unite for a Sausage Party

THE gang behind the comedy hit This is the End are reuniting for a raunchy new film - and bringing Kristen Wiig along for the ride.

THE gang behind last year's apocalyptic comedy hit This is the End are reuniting for another film, with the raunchy animated movie Sausage Party set for release in 2015.

Seth Rogen, Jonah Hill, James Franco and Michael Cera will lead the voice cast of the decidedly adult animated film. There will also be one girl invited to this sausage party - Bridesmaids and SNL star Kristen Wiig has also signed up to provide her voice.

James Franco was recently the subject of a Comedy Channel roast - he's joined the voice cast for Sausage Party.

Other stars who've signed on include Edward Norton, Nick Kroll and David Krumholtz.

Written by Rogen and creative partner Evan Goldberg, The film tells the story of a sausage who falls out of a trolley at a supermarket, and makes some new friends as they all embark on a perilous journey to try to get back to their respective aisles before the 4th of July.

Not exactly Gone With the Wind, but with Rogen penning the script, the R-rated comedy should please fans of previous Rogen-penned flicks like Pineapple Express and Superbad.

Actor and comedian Kristen Wiig is the sole female cast member announced for the appropriately-titled Sausage Party.
