Meghan Markle has seemingly hit back at those who accused her of using wildfire relief efforts to bolster her public image.
The duchess ignored the criticism being levelled at her by some last week, continuing to lend a hand to those impacted by the LA fires.
Eagle-eyed fans spottd her in an Instagram video, which showed her dropping off clothes for those affected by the disaster.
Pasadena teenager Avery Colvert, 14, started Altadena Teen Girls Fire Recovery in a bid to help youngsters who had lost everything in the fires get some semblance of their lives back.
Markle, who has delayed her Netflix show because of the crisis, could be seen wearing a black T-shirt, leggings and an LA baseball cap as she embraced Colvert briefly and dropped off bags full of relief items.
In a video on the group’s Instagram, Meghan could be seen briefly looking concerned while tenderly touching the teen’s arm as they spoke.
Harry, however, was nowhere to be seen.
The charity didn’t call out Meghan by name, instead simply captioning the video: “And thank you to everyone who showed up on Monday, which was such a special day! We love you.”
Last week, Meghan and Harry handed out food and supplis alongside other volunteers at the Pasadena Convention Centre.
However, filmmaker Justine Bateman, the sister of Hollywood actor Jason Bateman, has taken to X to slam the couple.
A popular X account reposted some video of the couple helping out and dubbed the former working royal members “disaster chasers”.
Bateman then reposted the tweet, called the couple “ambulance chasers” and claimed they were volunteering to get a “repulsive” photo opportunity.
“Are they politicians now? They don’t live here; they are tourists. Disaster Tourists?” She asked.
Opinion was divided with someone saying they’d clearly taken “time” out of their lives to help out, and that shouldn’t be seen as a negative. However, another claimed it was just for “attention.”
One called their volunteer work “embarrassing,” while another said: “at least they are there,” and then pointed out that other celebrities weren’t volunteering.
