MAFS couple Selina and Cody’s gross hair removal scene leaves viewers revolted

A revolting and supremely unsexy ‘Intimacy Week’ task left poor Selina grimacing as viewers took to social media to air their disgust.

MAFS viewers were left both puzzled and revolted on Tuesday night after an ‘Intimacy Week’ task saw a couple engage in activity most would save for at least a few years down the line — or never.

Armed with a tube of Nair hair removal cream, Selina, 32, was asked to get to work on 30-year-old Cody’s crack, grimacing as she declared it “the most confronting thing I’ve ever had to do”.

“I’m just gonna spread your cheek with my knee,” she said as Cody, who was bent over the couple’s bed, asked her to put the cream “all over the hair on my bum crack”.

Unable to hide her disgust over the wildly intimate task, Selina’s face said it all.

“Oh my God! I’m so confused. Where does it start and where does it end? Ugh! This was probably the most confronting thing I’ve ever had to do,” she told producers.

Married life.

Watching along at home, viewers were equally disgusted by the scene, and were quick to point out the bizarre choice of task given the couple have notably struggled with intimacy and affection.

“TELL ME WHY I JUST WATCHED SOMEONE GET THEIR BUTT CRACK WAXED BY THEIR PARTNER AS A DATE??? OMG,” questioned one.

“Cody and Selina – what am I watching!! That de-hairing the bum crack is not something that would bring any couple closer!” another pointed out.

Cody seemed surprisingly delighted by the rogue activity.

“These two found it hard to pash for five mins but had no issues with a casual crack wax,” one viewer observed.

Selina’s face was enough to scare anyone off from ever dating again.

It’s not the first time the couple has prompted social media discussion.

Last week, Selina was left inconsolable when Cody confessed he wasn’t attracted to her “nationality and look”.

Asserting he’s “not racist”, Cody explained that he’s “more familiar” with “blonde, surfy” women from Sydney’s northern beaches.

Viewers took to social media to rally around a “beautiful” Selina, as they pointed out the “underlying race issue” with Cody’s confession.

Married At First Sight continues tonight from 7.30pm on Channel 9.
