MAFS couple Olivia and Jackson spotted engagement ring shopping at luxury jeweller

Olivia and Jackson have been snapped making a purchase at a luxury jeweller, where the MAFS bride was seen trying on a $100,000 engagement ring.

Married At First Sight’s most controversial couple Olivia Frazer and Jackson Lonie look set to walk down the aisle for real.

The pair were spotted engagement ring shopping at one of Sydney’s most popular high-end jewellers, House of K’Dor in Double Bay, where the 28-year-old teaching student was seen trying on a 5-carat sparkler reportedly worth $100,000.

In photos obtained by Daily Mail, the couple spent half an hour in-store before the 30-year-old plumber was seen making a payment, while Olivia was seen smiling gleefully.

Olivia and Jackson only recently had their first off-camera date, sharing this snap on Instagram.

The pair were then photographed leaving the boutique with a House of K’Dor shopping bag, as they kissed for paparazzi waiting outside.

When asked if they were getting engaged, Olivia reportedly told the publication: “We are both very in love and very happy. He has said ‘I love you’ many times.”

The comment seems to be in reference to the finale reunion episode which aired two weeks ago, in which they revealed they had moved in together in Olivia’s hometown of Newcastle but Jackson was yet to say he loved her. Meanwhile, Olivia had told her TV husband she had fallen in love with him at final vows weeks prior.

Olivia and Jackson were the only successful couple to continue their relationship outside the experiment, which wrapped filming in January.

And despite their love blossoming in real life, Olivia has suffered overwhelming backlash due to her behaviour on the show, and even lost her job as a result.

In a recent interview with Mamamia’s No Filter podcast, Frazer said she was “at rock bottom.”

“I’m at the point now where I’m trying to get up off the floor … I’m at rock bottom, and I’m trying to get up,” she told podcast host Mia Freedman.

“And every time someone messages one of my loved ones something awful, I feel like I’m getting kicked back down. I’ve had death threats sent to my personal phone number … and I’ve had many on Facebook.

“It’s not just the show – if it was just the show, we could all just laugh and say, ‘Yeah that’s not Liv’s character, that’s a different story,’ but it’s the public believing it … it’s just the shock.”

The bulk of the controversy stemmed from Olivia finding and leaking a nude photo of her rival bride, Domenica Calarco, and her subsequent refusal to apologise as she claimed she had “no empathy.”

While she admitted to being shocked at how her appearance on the show has played out, Frazer did take accountability for her “controversial” comments.

“I think I was very naive in that I sort of thought, ‘I won’t get myself into any trouble, I’ll be a good girl’. And I usually am – I’m usually the teacher’s pet,” she told the podcast.

“There are some quite controversial things I have said and I have to take accountability for that. I have a very sharp tongue and no filter, and that’s definitely gotten me into trouble in a couple of instances here.”
