Channel 10 weather presenter Kate Freebairn’s former husband Pete Mann is preparing to make his small screen debut on the same station.

Tall, dark and handsome, Pete has been revealed as one of the single guys looking for love on the upcoming season of The Bachelorette screening on Ten.

Pete is the owner of Octeine Coffee, which has a cafe at Kent Town and is soon to open another in the Barossa.

He has made a brief appearance on a promo for the show which has two leading ladies, sisters Elly and Becky Miles.

Elly was one of the single ladies vying for Adelaide-born astrophysicist Matt Agnew on the 2019 season of The Bachelor.

Now To Love is reporting Pete was spotted enjoying a single date with Becky.

Pete is keeping a low profile, as is the way with reality TV stars in the lead up to a show’s premiere, but his personal Instagram bio contains the hashtag #adventurebegins.

Last August, Kate confirmed she and Pete, who wed in early 2012, had separated saying “life has taken us in different directions”.

The stunning blonde, who presents the weather for Ten’s Adelaide and Melbourne weekday bulletins, has a new partner, Nick.

Confidential has reached out to Ten for comment from both Kate and Pete.
