Insider claims MAFS ‘villain’ Jessika Power was far more drunk than we saw on screen

An insider has shockingly claimed Channel 9 ordered producers to show Jessika Power’s ‘best’ side, and anything ‘too nasty’ or ‘drunk’ was left on the cutting room floor.

Married At First Sight’s ‘villain’ was far nastier and drunker in scenes Channel 9 producers did not allow to go to air, according to a show insider.

The insider has claimed fans of the show were dished up the very best, toned down version of Jessika Power.

“Essentially, what you’re seeing on TV is a watered-down version of her,” they said.

The insider claims footage where Power was filmed saying “anything too nasty” or “acting like a complete drunk” was edited out upon orders from senior staff at Channel 9.

The admissions come only days after Power and fellow participant Martha Kalafatidis admitted to having been “100 per cent drunk” throughout the group dinner parties.

“I’d had a few wines, I can’t blame my actions solely on alcohol, but I’d had a few,” Jessika, who is married to Mick, said.

“You can see I’m doing one interview to camera and I’m completely sober, and the next one I’ve obviously had a few wines.”

Power’s family were criticised by fans of the show over their aggression towards Mick during the wedding, and it was later revealed that her brother, Rhyce — who was dubbed the ‘hot brother’ on social media — has an active DVO out against him.

Jessika has come under relentless fire over the past fortnight after she kissed Dan, another participant on the show.

She then shocked audiences and Mick by choosing to stay in the experiment, despite her show husband’s persistent requests to leave.

Neither Mick or Tamara, Dan’s wife within the experiment, seemed to be aware of their affair.

Just a week earlier, Mick and Jessika were embroiled in an ongoing argument after Mick labelled Power’s father “a drunk”, her brother “a f — khead” and her sister “a c — t.”

“Well at the wedding, they were,” Mick said when he was challenged on his comments.
