Aussie star Hugh Jackman has confirmed his romance with Music Man co-star Sutton Foster after being photographed holding hands on a night out.

Hugh Jackman's interview with former co-star and rumoured girlfriend resurfaces

Hugh Jackman and Sutton Foster have been spotted holding hands while on a dinner date, confirming their romance.

The actors, who co-starred in the musical Music Man on Broadway from December 2021 to January 2023, were photographed smiling at each other with their hands firmly clasped while out in Santa Monica, California, on Monday night.

Jackman, 56, wore white pants and a grey T-shirt, with a black jacket. Sutton, 49, wore an olive dress with an tan trench coat.

Last week, Jackman was seen in the audience of Foster’s Once Upon A Mattress show in LA, lending his support to his then rumoured girlfriend.

Photos of the Deadpool & Wolverine star were published by DeuxMoi. Jackman sat next to Carol Burnett, who originated Foster’s role as Princess Winnifred in the 1959 production.

Jackman separated from his wife Deborra-Lee Furness in September 2023, with Foster filing for divorce from her husband of 10 years, screenwriter Ted Griffin, last month.

The X-Men actor was married to Furness for 27 years and they have two children together.

“We have been blessed to share almost 3 decades together as husband and wife in a wonderful, loving marriage,” the former couple wrote in a statement announcing their separation.

“Our journey now is shifting and we have decided to separate to pursue our individual growth. Our family has been and always will be our highest priority. We undertake this next chapter with gratitude, love, and kindness.

“We greatly appreciate your understanding in respecting our privacy as our family navigates this transition in all of our lives.”

Jackman did not attend Sunday night’s Golden Globes, allegedly in support of his friends Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively, who also did not attend.

Lively is embroiled in a legal battle with her It Ends With Us co-star and director, Justin Baldoni.
