The Super Bowl clash between the Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs is under way Arizona — but two players turned heads early in the day for their bold fashion statements heading into the stadium.

While a number of famous faces decked out in designer outfits have filled the crowd, all eyes were on two players, Chiefs receiver Juju Smith-Schuster and Eagles defender Fletcher Cox, as they entered the throngs both rocking striking gender-bending looks.

Many have praised the stars for expressing themselves with refreshing flair, but others couldn’t resist roasting the pair on social media.

Eagles star Fletcher Cox wore a shiny lilac blouse and blazer power suit combo, with fans likening him to vice president Kamala Harris, or someone’s “rich aunt”.

Meanwhile, Smith-Schuster debuted his take on the man skirt trend ala Harry Styles and Brad Pitt, topping the look with a collared shirt and black beret.

One viewer likened to a “German kindergarten teacher”.

Elsewhere, British model Cara Delevingne echoed the sentiments of many tuning in today, wearing a T-shirt which read: “Rihanna concert interrupted by a football game, weird but whatever.”

Rapper Jay Z, 53, and 11-year-old daughter Blue Ivy were the epitome of effortless cool in hoodies and sunglasses for the father-daughter outing.

Beyonce was nowhere to be seen at the event — at which Rihanna will perform a hotly-anticipated halftime show — but her husband appeared to perk up when Gordon Ramsay made an appearance, enthusiastically shaking the celebrity chef’s hand with a grin.
