There was no bad blood for these Taylor fans. Thanks to some swift thinking, they were able to score tickets to her highly coveted Melbourne show.

Ebony Adams wouldn’t classify herself as a “raging Swiftie”, but quick-thinking has scored her four of the hottest tickets in Australia just by using an old-school method.
Ms Adams, 21, of Morphett Vale, is going to see Taylor Swift in Melbourne after lining up at Adelaide Entertainment Centre’s Ticketek box office.
While others in the queue had camped overnight to secure their spots, Ms Adams got there at 8am, thanks to her mum, Emma.
“She called me at 7.15am and said ‘there’s barely anyone down there’, after she drove past (the Entertainment Centre), and I called my friend and said ‘dude, let’s go’,” Ms Adams said.
While her friend, Samantha Snell, didn’t get the message at the time and arrived after Ms Adams, it didn’t matter.
After waiting until 1.30pm for the Melbourne concert to go on sale, they got their tickets.
Interestingly, Ms Adams’s mum works for Ticketek but it did not give her any advantage; like everyone, she had to rely on luck.
“I had my laptop, iPad and phone open trying to get tickets on Wednesday,” Ms Adams said.
“I am not a raging Swiftie, but I thought this is a once-in-a-lifetime.”
Ms Adams, who was ninth in line, bought four tickets – including one for her mum.
And she wasn’t the only Aussie to jump the virtual queue by joining one in the real world.
For example, frustrated after missing out on tickets in the last two pre-sales and desperate for a chance to see the megastar live, a small group of fans camped out overnight in front of a Ticketek centre at Orange in regional NSW.
“Camping overnight at the Ticketek office for Taylor Swift tickets because that’s legitimately easier than getting them online,” 30-year-old mum Bec Sammut said in a now viral TikTok post that has been viewed by more than 270,000 people.
