The daughter of slain underworld figure Carl Williams has hit out at body shamers.

Dhakota Williams, 21, says she has been subjected to scrutiny over her body from the age of just nine.

“I’ve never once addressed fat shaming because I cbf even giving it the energy but these people online have been calling me fat since I was about 9 years old and I’m fed up,” Williams wrote in a lengthy post on social media.

“Imagine going online & commenting calling a 9 year old fat up until today??? I was 9 crying because people were calling me fat. WTF.”

She continued: “That’s 12 years of me having to see people comment about my body. It’s such a shame that I've had to learn not to give a f**k instead of people having to learn to be nice.

“Mind you, this was a child we’re talking about teaching herself not to give a f**k becasue of nasty people, not these grown adults that are the nasty people teaching themselves to be DECENT HUMANS & amongst all that hate I still turned out a better person than them.”

In the Instagram post, she said body shaming is not okay at any time or at any age.

“Sorry we’re bulilt like f***ing women around here, not prepubescent children like some of these weirdos want you to look like,” she wrote.

“Women have thighs, hips, boobs & are built in all different shapes & sizes.

“Body shaming in 2022 is not cool & never was. I am lucky this doesn’t phase me anymore because people can be mean but let me say this, if saying something about my body is the only insult they can gather, then I am doing good.”

Williams, who recently celebrated her 21st birthday, did not have a normal childhood.

Australians would remember her as the young daughter of Carl and Roberta Williams.

Specifically, she would be known from a candid snap of her cherub face as a young girl being carried by her father during a prison visit and later, the heartbreaking image of the little child tearily clutching a photograph of the criminal kingpin at his funeral.

She was just 10 when her father was murdered at Victoria’s Barwon Prison in April 2010 while serving life sentences for the murders of Jason and Lewis Moran and Mark Mallia.

Earlier this year, she spoke of her unusual childhood and how she doesn’t “want people to think she has deadbeat parents”.

“It makes me so determined to want to prove people wrong because that is absolutely not how it is at all,” she said. “Regardless of what my parents did or didn’t do, the bad things if that is what you want to call it, it doesn’t mean that I am any less of a person than someone else.”
