Liam Payne's cause of death revealed

Horan, 31, was seen with his girlfriend Amelia Woolley and their dog walking around their local neighbourhood.

The couple were walking in London, and Horan kept his face obscured with sunglasses and a baseball hat, but his expression remained grim.

Horan and Payne were in One Direction together from 2010 to 2015.

They met as teenagers on X-factor and experienced unthinkable success together during the group’s height of fame.

Horan and Payne had seen each-other just a few weeks ago when Payne attended one of Horan’s Argentina shows and was seen enthusiastically dancing in a corporate box.

At the time, Payne posted on Snapchat that he was keen to reunite with his former bandmate and admitted that they hadn’t been staying in touch.

“I think we might just go and say hello. It’s been a while since me and Niall have spoken. We’ve got a lot to talk about,” he said.

“I’d like to square up a few things with the boy. No bad vibes or anything like that but we’re going to talk.”

Payne had always been supportive of Horan, and when Horan released his first solo album, Flicker, in 2017.

At the time Payne wrote online that was “proud” of how far Horan had come as an artist and Horan wrote back, “thank you and love ya,”

One Direction have released a heartbreaking statement following his tragic death, sharing they are “completely devastated”.

Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, and Louis Tomlinson shared their grief in a group statement posted to social media on Friday morning.

“We’re completely devastated by the news of Liam’s passing. In time, and when everyone is able to, there will be more to say.”

“But for now, we will take some time to grieve and process the loss of our brother, who we loved dearly.

“The memories we shared with him will be treasured forever. For now, our thoughts are with his family, his friends, and the fans who loved him alongside us. We will miss him terribly. We love you Liam.”

Both Malik and Tomlinson have also released individual statements. Tomlinson wrote that he’d “lost a brother”

“Liam was somebody I looked up to everyday, such a positive, funny, and kind soul,” he wrote.

Meanwhile, Malik shared that despite “butting heads” when they were in the band together, he’d always admired Payne.

“I lost a brother when you left us and can’t explain to you what I’d give just to give you a huge one last time,” he shared.
