Crows star Tex Walker and wife Ellie announce third baby on way

Adelaide Crows veteran Taylor Walker and his wife Ellie have let it slip that their family will soon be expanding.

Crows star Taylor ‘Tex’ Walker and his wife Ellie have announced they are expecting a third addition to their growing family.

On Sunday, Tex posted a photo to Instagram of the loved up couple while holidaying on Hamilton Island.

The photo, captioned “Enjoying a last little getaway before baby no3 comes! See you soon”, prominently features Ellie’s baby bump alongside a beaming, moustachioed Tex.

Ellie shared the same happy snap on her account captioned “Paradise with my love”.

Hundreds of people responded to the posts offering their congratulations including club mates and their partners Josh Rachele, Ebony Marinoff and Bel Sloane.

Midfielder Rory Laird quipped “Can’t see this photo with that glare coming off ya” in reference to the couple’s baby glow.

One fan called on the Crows to think about the future, commenting “We need a number 13 succession plan for @crowsaflw 3rd time lucky”.

Adelaide Football Club also shared the baby news with a “huge congrats to the Walkers”.

“Adelaide forward Taylor Walker and wife Ellie have announced they are expecting their third baby,” the club said.

“Congratulations, Taylor, Ellie, Hugo and Louis!”

Other photos on the Ellie’s account show the young family romping on the beach and enjoying the off season.

The baby will join Walker’s sons Louis, born in 2021, and Hugo, born in 2019, and a growing cadre of children at the Adelaide Crows.

In 2018, the couple lost their first child late in pregnancy, prompting outpourings of support from the football community.
