Adelaide jewellery designer and reality TV star Cassandra Mamone is “keeping her lips sealed” about a potential New Year’s Eve kiss.

Instead, the former Bachelor contestant is looking forward to celebrating the arrival of 2020 with family and friends at The Moseley Bar and Kitchen in Glenelg.

“New Year’s Eve is a nice time to catch up with those who are close to you,” said Ms Mamone, who starred on Channel 10’s reality dating show earlier this year.

“You always hope it’s more eventful than the previous year but it’s just great to see everyone and have a bit of fun.”

Ms Mamone, whose designs have been worn by celebrities such as Carrie Bickmore and Jesinta Franklin, will be joined for the night by friends Mia Louca and Kassie Ladas, and the jeweller said there was no better place to welcome the new year.

“The balcony at The Moseley will be a nice spot for the countdown and to see the fireworks,” she said. “The atmosphere should be great.

“It’s a really good venue to have a few drinks, the menu is excellent and it’s a chilled environment with good music.”

The Moseley venue manager Tom Sellar said New Year’s Eve was always one of the “biggest nights of the year”.

“We’re expecting great crowds, with the weather being more comfortable than this heatwave we’ve been experiencing,” he said.

“Each year New Year’s Eve becomes bigger and better than ever. At midnight, we let off confetti blasters into the air to celebrate and the crowd goes wild.”
