Music superstars Janet Jackson and Jason Derulo enjoyed some quiet time together after wowing the crowd at RnB Fridays Live at the Adelaide Showground last night.
The US duo relaxed over a drink at the Mayfair Hotel’s Hennessy Rooftop Bar following the show, and were photographed in a corner of the room talking with one of Jackson’s back-up dancers.
The sister of late pop legend Michael, Jackson headlines the national concert series with her first Australian performances in eight years.
The RnB Fridays Live tour, which has already played in Perth, Melbourne and Adelaide, is also the first time Derulo has seen the legendary Jackson perform live.
Yesterday afternoon, Jackson also shared an Instagram story video of the SAHMRI (South Australian Health and Medical Research Institute) building with her 3.8 million followers.
The US singer seemed impressed, letting out an audible “wow” as the car she was travelling in drove by the building on North Terrace.
While Jackson and Derulo headed to their hotel post-show, other big names on the bill including the Black Eyed Peas, Fatman Scoop and Sisqo attended the official after-party at Downtown on Hindley.

Earlier, Adelaide fans Aman and Maria met with will.i.am and fellow band member Taboo just before their set at the Showground.
“They were great. Humble and down to earth. Most importantly, they put on a great show too,” Aman said.
