Production on reality singing show The Voice has come to a halt amid growing coronavirus fears. Coach Kelly Rowland is said to be determined not to fly, here is why.

The Voice Australia has ceased production as overseas-based coach Kelly Rowland won’t fly Down Under.
Fellow coach Guy Sebastian is in LA songwriting and is set to return to Australia this week but will be forced to quarantine himself as the COVID-19 crisis continues to unfold.
Production was scheduled to film ‘the playoffs’, a new element to the show, on March 26 and 27, with the blind auditions and battle rounds already shot.
“The filming of The Voice has been temporarily postponed in the wake of the coronavirus and new Government protocols,” a Nine spokesman said. “The show is still currently on track to begin airing in its originally planned time frame, which will be announced in the coming months.”
British coach Boy George has remained in Australia since earlier shooting while Delta Goodrem is also here.
Usually based between the US and Australia, newly announced host Darren McMullen is understood to currently be in Sydney while co-host Renee Bargh is in Los Angeles.
New government restrictions mean anyone travelling from overseas must self isolate for 14 days.
Confidential understands however Rowland was understandably not willing to travel to Sydney given the crisis.
Production is based out of Moore Bank with the live episodes currently scheduled from May.
The Voice news comes as studio audiences here and abroad have been cancelled.
