On their third tour of Australia and second visit to Adelaide together, Queen + Adam Lambert are headed our way.
The Rhapsody tour plays Adelaide Oval tonight, and here’s everything you need to know if you are already, or thinking about, going:
Gates open at 6.30pm and fans are strongly advised to arrive early as security measures will affect the time taken to admit patrons to the stadium.
Tickets
Tickets are still available from Ticketek.
There will be Ticketek box office sales at Adelaide Oval, but purchases can only be made by credit and debit cards.
Getting there
Traffic restrictions will be in place around the venue. Free public transport will be available for concert ticketholders from 4pm. Visit Adelaide Metro for more details.
Floor seating (oval): Ticket holders should enter via the Floor Seating line at the South Gate, the West Gate or at the East 2 Gate (located to the north of the East Gate).
Floor Seating ticket holders will be issued with a wristband on entry to facilitate easy access to and from the Floor. The floor consists of reserved seating only (no General Admission)
If you have a mobile ticket, make sure you have it open before you approach the gate and ensure that the brightness on your phone is turned up. If you are attending in a group, please ensure that each person has their own ticket on their own phone where possible.
You will need to show your ticket again when you arrive at your reserved seating location so please keep your ticket open ready to present to staff.
Arrive early: Security measures will have an impact on the time taken to admit patrons to the stadium. Allow an extra 20 minutes and don’t leave your arrival until the last minute.
Be patient: Security inspections take time, so please understand it will likely take a little longer to move people into the stadium.
Can I bring a bag? Leave bags at home: We strongly recommend that only small bags are brought to this event.
Each bag, regardless of size, will need to be inspected, so to speed up the entry process, please leave bags at home. If you do bring a small bag, please prepare it for inspection by our staff on entry.
Co-operate with staff at all times: Security and event staff are doing an important job, so please help them by co-operating at all times.
Be the eyes and ears: If you see something you think is suspicious, immediately inform oval staff or police.
Food and drinks
Adelaide Oval food and beverage outlets accept payment by card only. All credit, EFTPOS and debit cards are accepted and all are exempt of surcharges. Patrons attending Adelaide Oval with cash only will be able to exchange it for a complimentary Cash Card via Card Exchange booths located around the stadium.
Any unused Cash Card credit can be used at future events or redeemed in full at any time.
Cans and glass bottles cannot be brought into the Oval.
Free filtered water outlets are available around the stadium to fill your bottle.
