Four months after Erin Molan revealed she wasn’t wearing her engagement ring because of a broken hand, the popular television presenter continues to leave her dazzling sparkler off, leading to chatter that her engagement to police office Sean Ogilvy is under pressure.
The speculation prompted Sunday Confidential to do some digging on Friday as to the status of the Channel 9 personality’s relationship.
Interestingly, Molan shared a rare snap of her fiance just hours later, perhaps in a bid to hose down speculation the couple’s future is under a cloud. The image was captioned with the grateful and world emojis.

However, sources close to the pair insist it’s not exactly happy families at home.
“They are still living together and are 100 per cent committed to their baby girl Eliza, but the relationship is absolutely strained,” said one.
“Lack of sleep, the issues between Erin and Andrew Johns which have been media fodder for weeks, and typical pressures have all contributed to the breakdown of the relationship.”
The pair, who announced their engagement in April 2017 after just one year of dating, welcomed Eliza in June 2018.
It was in June that eagle-eyed Nine viewers noticed that Molan wasn’t wearing her $100,000 engagement ring on air, but the sports presenter quickly shut down any talk of a split.
“So I broke my hand and removed all of my rings due to swelling,” she wrote at the time.
“Haven’t put them back on yet — bit distracted with changing nappies and working and high-fiving (Sean) because our baby girl is the greatest thing ever.”
Sunday Confidential phoned Molan yesterday for comment but she didn’t return our calls.
