The 16-year-old younger sister of 2011 X Factor winner Reece Mastin has vowed to do the family proud as she follows in his footsteps by competing in the reality show this season.
"It is hard going out there with the Mastin name but I want to just do it justice," the teenager told The Sunday Telegraph.
"It is intimidating having such an amazing and talented brother, but Reece just told me to enjoy this and have fun with it and not to stress out."
The X Factor 2013 premieres on Seven tomorrow night, launching with auditions from around the country.
The live shows go into production late next month and will see Dannii Minogue and Redfoo join the judging panel alongside Natalie Bassingthwaighte and Ronan Keating.
"I'm just going to go out there and be my own person and show people who I am," she said, having auditioned with her take on Kelly Clarkson's hit, Mr Know It All.
Georgina was 14 when her brother was crowned winner of the reality singing competition, mentored by former judge Guy Sebastian.
He signed to Sony Music Australia and is now one of the country's biggest pop stars, enjoying a string of chart topping hits including Good Night and Shut Up And Kiss Me.
The 18-year-old also has two ARIA Awards.
"I wanted to audition the same year as my brother but I was too young so I was jealous watching him," she said, describing her sound as "a bit of everything".
