Married At First Sight bride Jules Robinson is shredding for her real life wedding.
With Robinson and her reality TV husband Cameron Merchant set to tie the knot for real over the coming months, the bride-to-be has signed on as a new ambassador for WW (formerly known as Weight Watchers).
“I want to look fabulous on my wedding day,” Robinson told Sunday Confidential.
“And I want to start a family soon so I want my body to be in its best form to make a baby and to bounce back from that as well. I really believe healthy is the new skinny … I am an advocate for being healthy and loving your body how it is.”
Robinson, 37, claims she has put on 10kg since she and Merchant celebrated their fake wedding on Married At First Sight earlier this year.
“I just need to lose a little bit of weight,” she said.
“Proportionally I hold the weight pretty well but the scales don’t lie. I don’t know how it happened. In the last 12 months it just crept on. I am a curvy woman and I love having curves.”
Robinson and Merchant are the overwhelming success story from the controversial dating show, having moved in together several months ago and planning to start a family sooner rather than later.
Countless stories have been published by women’s magazines stating she is pregnant, which is not yet the case.
“That is not nice, you put on a bit of weight and everyone thinks you are pregnant,” she said. “I’m not, it’s just that I’ve eaten a few pies and Cam eats a lot.”
Robinson, who is launching a shapewear line called Figur, has already lost 3kg.
