After Confidential broke news the retired rugby league footballer partied with Tori May at the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras last month, the couple have gone public with their romance on social media.
“A little exercise break from the iso … don’t let the rona get the better of you,” Burgess wrote on Instagram, sharing a happy snap with May.
“Remain happy, healthy and busy. Think of 2020 as the year of the reset and be grateful that we were all a part of it. #gratitude”
May also shared a throwback shot of the two of them together at a cafe: “Brunching back in the good old days with this dreamboat.”
The pair were introduced through friends with the couple going on their first date just before Valentine’s Day.
Burgess, older brother of footballers Sam, Thomas and George, retired from the game at the end of 2018. He now works in the corporate and sponsorship team for the South Sydney Rabbitohs.
