The Roar singer spent more than 40 minutes patiently posing for selfies and signing autographs at the in-store appearance, organised by tour sponsor Myer.
Among the lucky ones to get a photo with Perry was Erin Hull, 15, of Marion.
“She was amazing, I’m so happy, it’s honestly the best thing that’s ever happened,” she said. “She’s so generous with her time, trying to get to everyone, she’s so nice.”
Some had camped out overnight outside the shopping centre to secure prime position for the event.

In town for the SA leg of her Witness world tour, Perry, who was wearing SA label Acler, also spent 15 minutes on stage in a Q&A session, where she spoke about her love of Adelaide – and meat pies.
“I’ve had two meat pies since I’ve been in Adelaide … I love them. No one gave me a pie in Perth, shame on them,” joked Perry, who will perform two more shows at the Entertainment Centre Monday and Tuesday night.
