The stunning former Miss World Australia is based in Sydney but spent the past week in Adelaide, as Charlie recuperates from a broken leg he suffered in the loss against West Coast earlier this month.
“I’ve loved spending a week in Adelaide looking after Charlie,” Madeline tells Confidential. “He’s doing so well … recovering so fast and is in great spirits.”
Madeline, a law graduate and model, took a break from nurse duties to attend the launch of The Moseley Bar and Kitchen Brunch Club on Sunday.
The 25-year old was joined by girlfriends including Annabel Gray — wife of Port Adelaide champion and Moseley part-owner Robbie Gray — and other guests including House Rules star Kate Whiting, Jamie Reilly, Jodie Oddy and Rebecca Morse, who was celebrating her birthday.
“I can’t wait to come back for summer and spend time at The Moseley Beach Club. I missed out last year but am so happy it’s opened for even longer this year,” Madeline says.
It’s understood Charlie and Madeline, both originally from Queensland, have dated long-distance for several months now.
Things appear to be getting serious with the couple making regular interstate trips to see each other, while Madeline’s parents visited Adelaide to watch Charlie play in the Showdown against the Crows on August 4.
