FEMALE a cappella group Aurora will provide the “entree” to the Feast Festival this weekend.

While Adelaide’s annual Queer Arts and Cultural festival doesn’t officially kick off until November 10, the vocal ensemble will sing their support with their show Human / Divine on Friday night and Saturday at Raj House in the city.

“We’re all extremely excited. We’re right behind the festival and we’re really supportive of everything the festival stands for,” said vocalist Steph Zuzolo.

“We have members of the group who are part of the LGBTI community and are very active in bringing awareness to the issues.”

A 15-woman group performing contemporary and classic music, Aurora once shared the stage with The Rolling Stones at their 2014 Adelaide Oval concert, where they sang You Can’t Always Get What You Want with the legendary British band.

“It was so surreal, looking out at 54,000 people,” Ms Zuzolo said.

Part of the SA youth choir Young Adelaide Voices, Aurora will also perform at the Adelaide Festival on March 2 as part of the orchestra for the Symphony For Our World event in Elder Park.
