Delta Goodrem cheers on brother Trent Goodrem, captain of Central District, at SANFL final

• Sturt survive late Central rally to march into preliminary final

POP princess Delta Goodrem was a not-so-surprising attendee at Adelaide Oval on Sunday.

Delta is the number one fan of younger brother Trent, captain of Central District, who on Sunday went down to Sturt in their SANFL semi-final by seven points.

Dressed in jeans and a white knitted top she mingled with fans, posed for selfies, signed autographs and attended to urgent business on her mobile phone.

In moments when she was left to herself, Delta was an enthusiastic and vocal supporter as the game advanced to an exciting finish.

Delta may return to Adelaide Oval in two weeks time to attend to her other football passion.

She has divided Australian football loyalties, and is also a high-profile supporter of the Sydney Swans in the AFL.

She could return for a preliminary final against the Crows if the Swans win their game next week.
