Commonwealth Games medallist Jessica Trengove gives birth to a son, Billy Samuel
Adelaide runner Jessica Trengove has given birth to her first child, a boy she and husband Dylan have named Billy.

Motherhood’s “a bit of a blur” so far for marathon star Jessica Trengove but she’s taking it all in her stride.
The 32-year-old and her runner husband Dylan Stenson, 31, became proud parents to baby boy Billy Samuel on Saturday at Ashford Hospital.
“He was in a breech position so was delivered via C-section,” Trengove said. “The medical team have been wonderful.”
Born at 11am, Billy was 3.35kg and 54cm. “He’s long, but he doesn’t get that from either of us!” Trengove said, noting her and Stenson’s respective heights of 167cm and 177cm.
The couple met at the 2014 City-Bay fun run and wed this year on Easter Saturday in the Adelaide Hills.
They are planning on “enjoying every second” of parenthood.
“It’s all a bit of a blur, but it’s amazing,” Trengove said.
“I’ve always wanted to be a mum … It’s something that words can’t describe.
“I look at him and I think it’s so amazing.”
Trengove said she was loving getting to know Billy.
“He has Dylan’s facial features and big feet with long toes,” Trengove said. “He loves his food like his mum. He’s very cuddly and relaxed. I love his little curious hands and baby squeaks. He’s also starting to follow us with his eyes which is very cute.”
A dual Commonwealth Games bronze medallist, Trengove hasn’t ruled out competing in her third Olympics at next year’s Tokyo Games.
“It’s too early to say, but I certainly hope to compete at the highest level and for Australia again one day,” said Trengove, who is the sister of former Port Adelaide footballer Jack.
