THE Body is back in Sydney. Elle Macpherson returned home yesterday, proving not only is she immune to the ravages of ageing, but she’s also stain and crease resistant.
While most mere mortals would struggle to keep a white top looking fresh on a short lunch date, the 52-year-old businesswoman’s all-cream Sydney Airport ensemble looked immaculate despite her having just stepped off a long-haul flight.
The model is in town to launch her latest venture — a new lingerie label.
Next week Macpherson will officially launch the new brand, called Elle Macpherson Body, at Myer Sydney.
The release of the extensive 364-piece range comes two years after Macpherson was replaced by Bendon as the face of her intimates line with Heidi Klum.
The new brand will include a sporty, microfibre-based range called The Body as well as more feminine, trend-based collections and will also be sold in the UK, Europe and the US at stores such as Selfridges, Harrods, Saks Fifth Avenue and Bloomingdales.
