He may have made an early impression on Bachelorette Angie Kent, but Sydney hunk Carlin Sterritt went through an awkward emo phase too.
The F45 trainer and model won the yellow rose on the first episode of the Bachelorette, giving him a full 24 hours with Kent to the fury of his fellow bachelors.
That is a huge win, but he also won the hearts of the Australian public by being considered extremely attractive across the board.

Tweets flooded the internet about his good looks, with even former Bachelorette Georgia Love tweeting: “So this is awkward coz I’m sitting next to my fiance who I met on this very show. But I think I love Carlin.”
But as we all know, nobody is perfect and not even Sterritt was immune to an awkward emo phase with dyed black hair and a sweepy fringe.
A picture from his 2005 Calvary Christian College Formal shows a very different picture to the hunk we saw on screens last week — and a very different suit situation too.
A young Sterritt wore a baggy black three-piece suit with a patterned vest and skate shoes, a far cry from his impeccably tailored, stylish white suit that drew comparisons with James Bond.
References to his looks are nothing new to Sterritt, who is a model as well as working as a trainer.
He has shot campaigns for Oxford, Afends, Sebago Shoes and Rodd and Gunn as well as acting in a TV commercial for Wollongong suit ship Tramps, which is currently on TV.
He is tipped to go far in the season, despite dropping the bombshell that he is still technically married.
The Bachelorette continues on Wednesday.
