Cricket fans will be able to look their best, despite some inclement weather forecast for the second Test between Australia and Pakistan at Adelaide Oval, starting today.

A bigger and better M&Co Style Bar and barber service will be in operation in the Village Green area of the South Australian Cricket Association members’ enclosure during the match, offering patrons the opportunity to receive a complimentary touch-up to their make-up or get a quick trim.

M&Co make-up artist Mandy Nash said with showers expected over the weekend, the Style Bar was sure to be popular with fans.

“I think it’s an inspired idea,” Ms Nash said.

“There’s nothing better than a quick touch-up and a spruce when you’re at the cricket for a long day, socialising.

“It will be a nice opportunity for people to refresh, enjoy a pamper and take a time-out.”

The Village Green will again be the place to be for SACA members looking to enjoying their annual social catch-up.

The traditional Pimms and Mumm Champagne tents will be back, along with a new specialist craft beer bar, while the Malt Shovel Taphouse is another new addition to the members area.

Patrons can also enter the Fashions on the Village Green competition, which will be held on Saturday of the Test, and features judges including Pippa Wanganeen, Luke Schapel, Evelyn Kakkoufas and Penny Yap.

SACA chief executive Keith Bradshaw said the Village Green “gets better and better every year”.

“Other venues have attempted to replicate it without success, and there’s really nothing quite like it,” he said.

“It’s what sets the SACA Membership experience apart from any other cricket membership.”
