Adelaide’s Adut Akech has opened up her family home in Andrews Farm for the latest issue of Vogue Australia.
The South Sudanese-South Australian supermodel, who’s been dubbed the “biggest fashion superstar in the world”, is the magazine’s December cover girl, which goes on sale next Monday.
Dressed in haute couture from top fashion houses such as Dior and Valentino, Akech, 18, posed with mum Mary and other members of her family for the photoshoot in the northern suburbs home where she grew up.
While it’s her first Vogue Australia cover, Akech also features on the cover of next month’s British Vogue.
Represented in Adelaide by Finesse Models Australia, Akech has become one of the world’s most in-demand young models since coming to Australia as a child refugee from Africa.
