ADELAIDE’s Adut Akech is looking forward to being front and centre on the David Jones runway on the back of her international success.

The 18-year-old is one of the headline models for the retailer’s spring summer collections launch tonight at Sydney’s Fox Studios.

She will share the spotlight with David Jones ambassadors Jessica Gomes and Victoria Lee, and guest Czech model Karolina Kurkova.

Adut, who was discovered in early 2016 by Chadwick Models while visiting relatives in Melbourne, is one of the world’s hottest models.

Based in New York, her achievements include closing both the Valentino and Chanel shows at last month’s Paris Fashion Week Haute Couture.

“Everything I’ve done so far is incredible … out of this world,” Adut said. “I can’t believe how much I’ve done in such a short amount of time. “I’m really excited about David Jones — the show gets bigger and better every season.”
