The Fringe favourite – aka Adelaide Confidential’s Matt Gilbertson – will face the US show’s judges, including international talent scout Simon Cowell, supermodel Heidi Klum and Scary Spice Mel B, for a second time, performing It’s Raining Men.
If he survives the cut, wunderkind Hans will be the first Australian to make it through to the top-rating TV juggernauts’ live shows, which will be held at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood next month.
“I don’t want to give it all away, but let’s just say It’s Raining Men is only PART of the performance,” Hans said.
“By the end of the episode, I think you will all agree that it’s not raining men, but it sure as hell is raining ME!,” Hans said.
“Simon is a tough egg to crack, but I think I might just be about to do it.
“I think he is seeing in me a Susan Boyle quality, except of course unlike her, I don’t need a makeover.”
