Chelsea Becirevic, partner of new Port Adelaide ruckman Ivan Soldo, excited for Adelaide move despite ‘mixed reviews’

The glamorous partner of new Power ruckman Ivan Soldo has heard “mixed reviews” about Adelaide but says she’s ready to embrace her new home. After all, it’s “not forever”.

Chelsea Becirevic, the glamorous partner of new Port Adelaide ruckman Ivan Soldo, says she’s excited about her impending move to Adelaide despite having heard “many mixed reviews” about the city.

The model, marketer and influencer said she’s going to “embrace” her new home in a special Q&A with her almost 69,000 Instagram followers on Thursday.

“Tbh can’t say I ever thought I would ever move to Adelaide. But I am excited for a change and to experience somewhere new,” wrote the stunning footy WAG, who also intends to study biomedical science at university next year.

“I’ve never even been to Adelaide before so I actually have no idea what to expect … and I hear so many mixed reviews.

“It’s not forever, but who knows I could end up loving it. Excited for a new chapter and to meet some new people.”

Ms Becirevic, who first met ex-Richmond big man Soldo about two years ago, said a long-distance relationship “wasn’t an option”.

“I know how much I would hate it and struggle, so just gonna embrace it,” she wrote.

“Definitely going to miss Melb a lot, but I’ll be back and forth all the time anyway.”

Ms Becirevic and Soldo turned heads at Richmond’s recent best and fairest count, sparkling in a revealing gown.

The couple regularly share affectionate snaps and videos of themselves on social media.

Ms Becirevic also revealed their first date was over two years ago soon after she first moved to Melbourne from the Gold Coast, and they have been seeing each other “and off ever since”. She said the couple only recently decided to “properly date”.

When Soldo officially switched clubs in October, she took to Instagram stories to share: “Always proud of you @ivansoldo.”

Ms Becirevic works in marketing for a fashion and bridal company and this year has travelled around the world, visiting Italy and France during a European summer vacation.
