Will Forte debuts bizarre new half-n-half hairdo

For the love of god, we hope not.

Actor and comedian Will Forte — best known for his work in last year’s award-winning family drama Nebraska and appearances in TV comedies including 30 Rock and Saturday Night Live — debuted a shocking new half-n-half haircut on the weekend.

The left side of 45-year-old Forte’s head is a hirsute mess with long hair and a wild, bushy beard.

The right side? Entirely bald, right down to a missing eyebrow.

It’s not immediately clear what prompted the extreme do, but we’ll hazard a guess it has something to do with Forte’s current role in post-apocalyptic comedy series The Last Man On Earth.

At least, that’s what we hope. Surely this wasn’t voluntary?

Forte is currently in attendance at today’s 2016 Critic’s Choice Awards, and unsurprisingly, he’s drawing a lot of attention:

Even worse, Forte himself retweeted one fan’s handiwork, creating mirror image mock-ups of an entirely bearded and bald Will Forte. Stuff. Of. Nightmares:
