GETTING places is just so hard for troubled actress Lindsay Lohan — even with a chauffeured limousine at her disposal.
That’s the excuse the 28-year-old starlet offered to a judge for repeatedly dodging her court-ordered community service program in London.
Lohan has completed less than 10 of the set 125 hours of service she was hit with for a reckless driving charge, gossip website TMZ reports.
But her lawyer insists the actress has a valid excuse — the community service centre is too far away. Lohan is forced to travel an hour-and-a-half each way.
That forces her to hire a car service, given she can’t drive herself. And good thing too — her criminal record for driving-related offences does not make for brief reading.
Lohan’s track record with community service is also far from stellar.
Two months ago, a court scratched off a bunch of hours she had wrongly claimed as well as dubious credits for letting underprivileged kids watch her appear in a play.
This time, the judge isn’t impressed and has given Lohan until the end of the month to finish her remaining time.
But the star’s lawyer asked that she be allowed to do her remaining service in Brooklyn, hinting Lohan is heading home to the US.
