Model Lara Bingle and actor Sam Worthington welcomed their first child Rocket Zot in March. The pair named their baby boy in the honour of Lara’s late father.
Lara addressed the birth of her beautiful baby on her Instagram “March 24th 2015 best day of our lives...”
Asher Keddie
Actress Asher Keddie and husband Vincent Fantauzzo welcomed their first child together in March. In an exclusive interview with Who Magazine, the new mum opened up about her baby son Valentino, “I can’t believe how much I love him, it’s indescribable.”
Nicole Trunfio
Model Nicole Trunfio and musician Gary Clark Jr welcomed a baby boy on January 11. Nicole gushed, “#heavensentmeanangel Gary and I welcomed our beautiful child into the world... we are so in love.”
An emotional Gary Clark Jr added, “My beautiful lady @nictrunfio brought me to tears with her display of courage and strength while bringing our little one into the world. I never knew I could feel like this. So beautiful. So thankful. So in love.”
Kate Ritchie
Radio personality Kate Ritchie and husband Stuart Webb welcomed their baby girl Mae on August 17, 2014. The first-time mum spoke to Who magazine exclusively on becoming a mother, “There were a few tears. I think I sobbed for a week, in a good way! Stuart kept saying, ‘What’s wrong?’ I just kept saying, ‘I’m so happy.’ I was overwhelmed by how emotional and amazing it was.”
On returning to work Ritchie posted to Instagram, “A lunch like this makes it very hard to head into the office.”
“Last night was my first night away from home since August so this is what I found in my hotel room. Thanks team” said the working mum on her Instagram.
Robyn Lawley
Model Robyn Lawley and partner Everest Schmidt welcomed their baby girl Ripley on February 6.
“The new family are doing great, everyone is healthy, happy and looking forward to spending quiet time with their precious new little human. Ripley is just the epitome of contented perfection,” read an announcement on Robyn’s Facebook.
The new mum is loving motherhood, posting on Instagram: “My hearts content, when you smile I smile, when you laugh I laugh and when you cry mamma is always gonna be by your side. You are my daughter and I am you mother, our bond is like no other.”
Candice (Falzon) Warner
Newly married couple Candice and David Warner welcomed their baby girl Ivy Mae in late 2014. Candice succeeds in keeping the family tight-knit during the cricketer’s busy schedule. “What a day it was!! Two of the best things that life has given me. Thanks for being my rock @candywarner1,” said Warner of his wedding day.
David never fails to share his appreciation for his family to the world, taking to Instagram during the tragic passing of fellow team mate Phillip Hughes.
“Words are inadequate to express how thankful I am to have such an amazing person and beautiful daughter in my life who showed me incomparable love, care and support during these difficult times. I want to thank you @candyfalzon and Ivy for being my strength and for showing me your love, patience and kindness in all things you say and do. Love you both.”

49-year-old television personality Sonia Kruger and Craig Macpherson were blessed with baby girl Maggie on January 24. Kruger spoke of the birth to the Daily Telegraph. “What an amazing feeling to finally meet our baby girl... It has certainly been worth the wait and she was certainly ready to make her entrance, weighing in at a healthy 3.8 kilos. Without doubt it’s been the best day of my life.”
Erin (McNaught) Gleave
Model Erin Gleave and husband, DJ Example, welcomed their first child on December 21, 2014. Erin took to her Instagram posting: “There are simply no words to describe the emotions I am feeling since becoming a mother to this beautiful human being... Evander Maxwell you are my everything.”
Erin’s Instagram account is flooded with happy family snaps and baby Van has become quite the social media star. “It’s like he’s trying to tell me something! (Or he’s just licking the bathwater off his chin)”
