Studio 10’s Sarah Harris shares first photos of baby boy

STUDIO 10 co-host Sarah Harris has shared the first photo of her baby boy, Paul William Ward, two days after giving birth.

SARAH Harris has shared the first photo of her beautiful baby boy with fans on social media.

The Studio 10 co-host and her husband Tom Ward welcomed their first child together, named Paul William Ward, on Wednesday.

Harris, 34, posted an adorable photo of herself with her newborn bub on Instagram, captioning the pic: “Hello from the baby love bubble!

“Huge love and thanks to everyone who has sent well wishes to our little (big!) dude, Pauly.

“We’ve basically spent the last 48 hours staring at him. We’re so in love!”

Studio 10 announced the exciting baby news on Twitter, revealing what the couple decided to name their firstborn.

The network tweeted: “We're thrilled to announce Paul William Ward was born 11.30am this morning. Congratulations @SarahHarris!”

Paul William Ward was born on Wednesday morning at 11.30am, weighing 4.23kgs and measuring 54cm.

The elated new mum said in a statement: “Bubs is a bruiser, but perfect. We’re in love!”

Harris wasn’t due to give birth until December 23 but told news.com.au last week that she thought she would “go early”. Her last day on air was due to be today.

Baby Ward is yet to grow a good head of hair on him but there’s still hope he might be a redhead, like his father. Harris declared back in July when she announced her pregnancy on the show that she would love to have a ginger baby.

“I’m dying for it to be a ginger,” she said.

The couple tied the knot after five years together in an intimate ceremony in Sydney in July, 2014 before celebrating their honeymoon in Spain.

The new parents are looking forward to spending their first Christmas together with their bundle of joy.
